Sjane Designs: 2011 Annual Communication

Every year the Grand Lodge of California puts on what we call Annual Communication. This year it was the 162nd Annual Communication and my first. Leading up the the conference there are tons of programs, flyers, signs and last minute brochures that need to be designed, printed and distributed. These design projects aren't just Grand Lodge signage but also includes our affiliated organizations such as: Masonic Homes, Acacia Creek and Masonic Center for Youth and Families (MCYAF).

Since MCYAF is fairly new we wanted to make sure they had a good presence throughout the conference. When it came time for me design a few signs, fliers and their brochure I wanted their look to be very clean and simple, yet modern. When you visit their offices it doesn't feel like you are walking into a shrinks office, its more like a well decorated home. I wanted their design collateral to reflect that as well. The design pieces below are MCYAF's design collateral for the 2011 Annual Communication. A flyer of MCYAF events for the weekend and one for their Open House even that took place this past week. There is also a sign to inform people where to stand for the next shuttle to MCYAF offices. Enjoy!
